On Monday (22 September), the first day of Shardiya Navratri, before offering prayers to Goddess Shakti, CM Yogi Adityanath listened to the grievances of people. During the Janata Darshan at Gorakhnath temple, he heard the problems of about 250 people. He then directed officials to resolve them. The issues raised mainly included pension, housing, and land disputes.

He gave strict instructions to officers to resolve public grievances with full sensitivity and within the stipulated time. At the Janata Darshan held in front of the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhavan in the Gorakhnath temple complex, the Chief Minister personally listened to each person’s problems. He directed the officials present to ensure quick redressal. He said that in cases related to land and housing, the police must immediately visit the site, conduct a field investigation, and submit a report. Similarly, benefits of pension, housing, and other welfare schemes should be provided to all eligible and needy individuals.
Government Schemes Must Reach the Poor
The Chief Minister instructed officers to deliver pension benefits. He prioritised resolving complaints received at the Jansunwai Control Room quickly. He emphasised that the government makes it its top priority to ensure no poor, helpless, or needy person misses out on welfare schemes. To achieve this, the government runs schemes such as affordable meals, housing, and pensions.
He directed officers to resolve grievances received through Janata Darshan and Jansunwai promptly to ensure people’s satisfaction. He also instructed that police stations must ensure this on their level. Yogi told officials to give the highest priority to welfare work.
The CM assured people during the interaction that “the government is with you.” He instructed departmental officers to solve problems immediately. He emphasised solutions for pension, housing, healthcare, education, roads, drainage, and other public issues.
