Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday (September 17) participated in several programs organised under the “Seva Pakhwada” in Lucknow. At 11 am, he inaugurated an exhibition at GPO Park based on the life journey of PM Narendra Modi. Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, State General Secretary (Organisation) Dharmpal Singh, and Cabinet Minister Suresh Khanna were also present on the occasion.

Exhibition on PM Modi’s Life

CM Yogi visited the exhibition, which displays PM Modi’s journey from childhood to becoming the prime minister. Notably, the BJP has planned to celebrate Seva Pakhwada from September 17, the Prime Minister’s birthday, to October 2. The period will include various service activities. The campaign officially began on Wednesday.

Greetings on Behalf of the State

In his address, CM Yogi conveyed birthday greetings to PM Modi on behalf of 25 crore citizens of Uttar Pradesh. He said that under the leadership of PM Modi, the entire world is witnessing a new India. Once considered a follower nation, India is today inspiring the world with its confidence. In the last eleven years, leaders have set new standards in areas such as economy, heritage, infrastructure, investment, education, healthcare, agriculture, and water management. By giving priority to villages, the poor, women, youth, farmers, and marginalised communities, a major transformation has taken place in people’s lives.

Transformation of Religious Sites

The CM said that after 500 years, a grand Ram Temple has been built in Ayodhya. The reconstruction of Kashi Vishwanath Dham is attracting global attention. Kedarnath and Badrinath shrines have been revitalised. Moreover, the development of Mahakal Lok, along with the beautification of other religious centres, has become a symbol of the new India. Additionally, work connected to the legacies of great leaders like Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, Sant Ravidas, and Maharishi Valmiki has provided a strong push toward social justice and upliftment.

Covid Management and Achievements

Yogi recalled that during the global pandemic, when most countries were struggling, India presented one of the best models of COVID management. While vaccines took over a century to reach India earlier, under Modi’s leadership, a vaccine was developed within just nine months.

Healthy Women, Strong Families Campaign

He said the first phase of Seva Pakhwada includes the “Healthy Women, Strong Families” campaign. This phase covers women’s health check-ups, nutrition programs, and awareness drives. The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha is organising blood donation camps in every district. In the coming days, health check-up camps and related activities will be held across health and wellness centres, PHCs, CHCs, district hospitals, and medical colleges.

Vision 2047 and Intellectual Meets

CM Yogi stated that the vision of Developed India and Self-reliant Uttar Pradesh are interlinked. PM Modi’s Vision 2047 guides the path. In line with this, the state will organise intellectual conferences on September 19 and 20. MPs, MLAs, ministers, and public representatives will participate.

Namo Marathon for Youth

The CM announced that a “Namo Marathon” will be held on September 21 in 17 major cities of UP. Thousands of young people will join. This initiative will further strengthen the Fit India Movement and the vision of a developed nation.

From Antyodaya to Gandhi-Shastri Jayanti

CM Yogi informed that the birth anniversary of Antyodaya’s pioneer Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya will be celebrated on September 25 with grandeur at the booth level. The series of events will continue until October 2. Celebrations will mark the birth anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri. Special drives will also encourage the use and gifting of Khadi clothes.
