The industrial city Ghaziabad is set to host a major platform for MSME entrepreneurs today (September 12). The “MSME for Bharat Conclave,” organised by Amar Ujala, will begin at 3:30 PM at IMS College UC Campus in Dasna. Entrepreneurs from across the district involved in micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) will be attending the event. They will discuss industry challenges and growth opportunities.
Dialogue on Industrial Challenges and Opportunities
Office-bearers of various industrial associations, including the IIA, Sahibabad Industrial Area, Kavinagar, Bulandshahr Road, Tronica City, Anand Vihar, and Laghu Udyog Bharati, will share their views. Key topics of discussion will be the current status of the MSME sector and upcoming development plans. Additionally, they will address major hurdles facing industries.
Presence of Government and Department Officials
Uttar Pradesh’s IT and Electronics Minister Sunil Sharma will be the chief guest for the event. Mayur Maheshwari, CEO of UPCIDA, will hold special discussions with entrepreneurs. District Magistrate Ravinder Kumar Mandad and Police Commissioner J. Ravinder Gaur will also talk with industry representatives on important issues.
Discussions on GST and Taxation
Senior officials representing both central and state governments will address tax-related matters. The Centre will be represented by CGST Additional Commissioner Vikas Seth and State Tax Department Additional Commissioner Manvendra Pratap Singh. Apart from them, Industry Department Deputy Commissioner Shreenath Paswan and UPCIDA General Manager Rajeev Tyagi will also be present.
Solutions and Cooperation
The primary goal of this conclave is not just to raise industrial problems, but also to highlight solutions and make government schemes clearer for entrepreneurs. This interaction between the industry and administration is seen as an important step. It aims toward strengthening Ghaziabad’s industrial ecosystem.
