On September 1, 2025, during the Janata Darshan program held at the CM residence in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath assured Kanpur’s little Mayra that he would arrange her school admission immediately.
Mayra’s Innocent Request
Mayra’s mother told the CM that she wanted to admit her daughter to Kanpur’s Escorts World School. Speaking innocently, Mayra said she wished to become a doctor when she grew up. CM Yogi Adityanath immediately directed officials to arrange her school admission and even gave her chocolates. Mayra’s mother said they had been trying for a long time to secure her admission but failed. She expressed happiness after the CM’s order, as the dream of Mayra and her family would now come true.

This was not the first time CM Yogi helped children with school admissions. In July this year, five-year-old Vachi from Moradabad requested admission during Janata Darshan. The Chief Minister ordered immediate action, and within four hours, Vachi got admitted to the nursery class of a reputed school in Moradabad. Similarly, he ensured Gorakhpur’s Pankhuri received admission and fee waiver in her school. These examples highlight the CM’s sensitivity toward the people and his commitment to prioritising education. They also show how he listens to people’s grievances and resolves them quickly.
