The third edition of the UP International Trade Show will be inaugurated by PM Modi. Additionally, diplomats from various countries will also be present on the occasion.
This year, Russia has been chosen as the partner country. The Chief Minister reviewed preparations related to stall setups, traffic, security management, parking, and other arrangements. He directed that the event should be even grander and more successful than the previous one. CM Yogi arrived at Hindon Airport by state aircraft and from there traveled to Greater Noida by helicopter.
International Trade Show – Beneficial for Artisans
Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’ said that this trade show is a major platform to connect skilled artisans from villages and towns with the global market. The previous two editions proved that UP’s entrepreneurs and products have already earned recognition at the international level. During the last event, traders had secured orders till 2027, and this time even greater business opportunities are expected.
In the third edition, entrepreneurs associated with the ‘One District, One Product’ (ODOP) scheme will also get the opportunity to showcase their art and products to the world. This platform will not only give international recognition to UP’s products but will also help push the state towards becoming a $1 trillion economy. The government is confident that this time the event will be larger in scale. It will take the state’s exports to new heights. Along with trade, the show will provide an opportunity to showcase UP’s economic, cultural, and industrial strength, ranging from rural crafts to modern industries.
MSME Minister Rakesh Sachan informed that around 9.6 million MSME units are operating in the state. This trade show will provide them with a single platform. During last year’s event, trade worth nearly ₹22 crore was recorded.
MP Mahesh Sharma, Rajya Sabha MP Surendra Nagar, Jewar MLA, Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh, and DM Medha Roopam attended the meeting.
